Alas, the weather has been undeniably chilly which has been a common theme on the reviews. Always remember that April, May and September might be a bit chilly on the river so pack accordingly. "Making the reservation was simple. It couldn’t be easier. I agonized over what to bring being uncertain about the weather. Your clothing list proved to be just what was needed. I did throw a pair of long underwear in the bag at the last packing and very glad I did!
I thought the system of writing your bag numbers on your mug made perfect sense. What a simple solution. Even the day we set off from Cliff Dwellers was really pretty organized considering all the people. I also liked how passengers were expected to help load and unload the rafts. Made for a good group effort!
My wife and I were happy with the food prepared. I was very happy with the selection… Our guides were Kelly, Parke and Zack. They amazed me with their cooking skills. Kelly even made a birthday cake!
The guides also were great. Man, they work hard!!! They made everything seem simple but it’s not. You have great employees and when I return again I will ask to be on their raft again. I won’t wait another 30 years!"
